If Litsch goes down Brian Tallet will come up into the rotation likely.

As for Adam Lind, a TON of teams have called for him in the past, I remember in 2007 teams were inquiring about his availability. JP shot them all down. Looks like he was right.

Also, Janssen would be the likely call up as well. Accardo, doesn't seem like a Cito guy.

Isn't Accardo struggling in the minors right now? One thing i'm really worried about is B.J Ryan, i doubt he can close games the whole season.

C is right.. looks like Tallet is going to take Litsch's spot in the rotation. Not a good sign with another starter going down.

Love the way we're raking though. Very good sign.

Rios looks scared to catch the ball close to the wall now since he got knocked in the head by a fly ball. He has a very strong arm though

the only way we get this wildcats is to get off a good start. If we aren't 40-20 in first 60 we ain't making it I'm calling it.

Jeez, Romero was considered a top prospect. He should be pitching the way he has to be honest. It was his minor league career that got people scared and calling him at one point a potential relief pitcher, or long man outta the bullpen.

Next, Carlson did nothing to really lose the game. The offence disappeared today and couldn't do shit.

And lastly, whoever said Rios can't field worth shit, is completely and utterly wrong. He's got gold glove tools. So what if he screws up a few times. You watch any guy under a microscope and you'll find they make msitakes as well (quelle surprise). And no one really expects them to contend this year. Next year? Yes, this year is about learning.

First of all, it's S-N-I-D-E-R.

Secondly, would it kill you to actually spell out "tomorrow"?

Lastly, and what if Snider isn't in the lineup tomorrow? Left handed pitcher on the mound yesterday, so it makes sense to start a right-handed batter. It's called "playing the percentages".

Rios can't field worth shit? Are you sure you're watching the Jays play? Sure you're not watching Armando Rios? Cause Rios is a damn good fielder. He's got good speed and a cannon for an arm. He gunned down a guy at home last week, but yeah, you're totally right, he can't field for shit.

So, how do you explain the Met teams of the past couple of years who got off to hot starts only to falter in the second half?

Statements like the one you made in bold make me laugh. You're calling it, huh?

Mango man, who shit in your cornflakes this morning? That three post vendetta was kind of ridiculous...

I'm shocked Snider didn't get brought in when extra innings came around, especially because Bautista was coming up to bat and the Twins were pitching right handed.

Very impressed with Romero, I like his stuff. That curve ball of his is an absolute banana. Would have liked to see Downs stay in an extra inning last night - not sure what purpose subbing him in for another left hander served.

Glad to see Vernon actually hit a ball with runners in scoring position. If he and Rios can get hot, this team could reel off 6 or 7 straight.

I'm just sick of fanboys who know nothing about the game just going off about how player X should be in the game, or how player Y doesn't know how to play. It's frustrating to sift through the shit. Usually I let it ride, but damn, I haven't been getting much sleep the past couple of nights, so those comments just set me off.

I think I heard a comment from Cito a few games ago whereby he stated guys like Millar, Bautista weren't gonna get much playing time this year, so he wants to give them a few starts early on to keep them sharp and their morale up. I'm not surprised he wasn't pulled for Snider or a left handed batter - Bautista is more mobile than Snider and is a better fielder. Besides, it was Nathan who was on the bump in the late innings, was it not? I'd rather Bautista at the plate.

I'm liking Romero, he's got some really filthy stuff. When Marcum and McGowan come back healthy next season, and should Purcey and Romero stay the course, we're gonna have some real excess starting pitching, and conceivably, could make a run next year. I'm impressed with Purcey, but he's gotta get some control.
