I know that i'd probably go to an extra 10-15 if they did.
Grass wouldn't make a difference for me actually. The stadium and the setting take a back seat for me.

I have always just had a real hard time being able to back JP Ricciardi. I don't like him. Cito on the other hand... he gives me something that i want to cheer for. This year feels a little different. Looks lke we're about to be 3-1. good start.

I'm one of those guys that goes only when they give good stuff away (caps, bags, etc.) or if a big-name team comes to town (Yankees, Red Sox, NL Interleague *depending on the team*)

If you're that much of a fan, you could always buy a seasons pass for about $100 and go to all of the games.

Why don't you park further away for $10 instead of parking right at the Dome?
There are lots of lots around the general vicinity of the Dome that won't cost you very much.

The Tigers aren't that good of a team. I'll be impressed when they start doing that to the Yankees, Red Sox Rays and Angels.

If it were an actual baseball stadium, it would be a different story. It doesn't have a real feel to it. There's no atmosphere. Factor in that baseball is very boring as a spectator sport, salaries are still spiralling under control, and the Jays haven't sniffed the playoffs in 16 years has people staying away in droves.

I like the outfield level baseline seats and the field level base seats. I used to get those tickets for around $20 three seasons ago. Now they're $33-43 for a regular game - and they're more for the premium and "super" premium games. Too much IMO - considering they're at the outfield.

Here's something that some of you may find interesting. I live beside the dome. It's a 3 minute walk from my door to the stadium. I haven't been to one game in three years. And i care about baseball (however marginally... i actually care aobut the team). yep. clearly something is not right in this scenario.

heh. maybe i'll go to a game this year. just maybe.

I'm not sure if they're still doing it this year. It used to be in conjunction with the Toronto star and used to run about $100 bucks. You get a pass, and no more than 3 hours before the game, you go up to the ticket office, show your pass and they give you the best 500 level seat still available.
The Toronto Rock had a promotion like that going on for a few years. I bought a couple of season passes for $60 bucks each and I went to every game. It was great.

You can park in the LCBO parking lot for $10, You can park at Captain John's for $10..even places on King Street.

Love the Steamwhistle brewery. I was there last weekend for a function. can't go wrong with free food and uber cheap beer.

They'll never have it in Canada anytime soon. I'd love to go to one of those games one day. Unfortunately for me, they always have it New Years Day and I'm always hungover.

Oh, I wasn't looking for an address or anything. I've been keeping up with the new developments around the 'Dome and was curious what Cityplace was like since I've heard so many extremes of good and bad things about it.

I would love to live at Maple Leaf Square.

I got high hopes for Adam Lind, he has got off to a good start. I know he's gonna go on a slump but I think he should bounce back quicker this season.

Really? How come? You'd get all the rowdies from the Leafs game and various concerts constantly making noise.

Ahh. it's just that you fit the bill of a stalker. . I have no idea about City place. I remember looking at a few "new" buildings when i was shopping and was always dissapointed in what i saw. Anytime they mentioned 1+ bedroom the + part would just be some little indent in one of the walls. I looked at one condo on front street just north of the dome (one of the green glass ones), and the place was tiny. anything of a good size was way out of my budget. So i settled for something older, but sturdier and bigger. Plus i couldn't give too shits if the lobby has a fountain when the units are akwardly small.

The congestion of all the massively tall city place condos does have me a tad concerned though. It's almost like a suburb right in the middle of the city. Kind of weird.
