One more win and then the Phils end their drout. Cubby fans must be dying seeing that the past few winners have been: The Sox, Cards and now potentially (not yet though) the Phils.

Cleveland must be dying too.

God, the Jays have a ways to go and if the rumored interest in Jacobs and Furcal is true, they're further away from contending than they think.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

I'll be happy for Matt Stairs if the Phillies take it all. I'll also be happy if they can wrap it up tonight or tomorrow so I don't have to race like a madman home on Wednesday night to catch the Raptors game.

I think the Phils are throwing Cole Hamels out there. If that's the case then consider it over. He's been automatic this post season going I believe 4-0.

Nice to see Lidge pick up the save for the team, espescially seeing how many thought he was done after he was bombed by Pujols when he was in Houston. Smart trade by Gillick. Now the question is: Does Gillick stay on or move on?

Baseball is finally over. When Boston and LA bowed out, there was no real interest left on my part.

I think Gillick comes back. He won another championship. Now he can come home.

I think Gillick was asked that question: he responded with a no comment.

God I'm dying for some adequate leadership at top. Beeston was a start.

They were all abuzz this morning on the Fan that Gillick would actually prefer to get out of baseball and try his hand at another sport. How nice would it be for him to take Peddie's job???

So FA season is upon us: What happens to the Blue Jays offseason? What would you do if we lose Burnett? Thoughts?

I'm not really sure. It just doesn't seem worth it to compete in big-name FA market....

It seems like baseball has gone crazy again. $20M+ for sabathia?..... $18M for Burnett?.... $30M for Manny?????.... Holy fuck, man.
