This is my first time really watching Davis, and as good as he is...freshman Oden destroys freshman Davis. He's good, but not as good as everybody is hyping him out to be. He's surrounded by other studs.

Oden, Shaq, they were guaranteed in college they were going to be guaranteed all-stars at the next level (barring injuries). Davis is going to take some time to get to that level.

One thing he'll be right away is a great shot blocker off of help defense.

need to remember that 3 years ago, davis was 6'2". dude is still learning how to be a big. his footwork is amazing, and he has great instincts. he will be a beast when he grows into a man.

Davis is a defensive beast.

Not sure that he's a true A1-talent big man like Duncan, Shaq and 'Zo were.... he's pretty raw on offense... but I came away impressed.

Honorable mention to Withey too.... he would prob. be a solid late 1st round pick for a team looking for size in the middle.

I think Davis will grow to 7'0" by the time the NBA season starts. He only turned 19 last month.
