Like I've said before, just the fact of how hard this team is working makes it all enjoyable, even if they were losing, at least they're going in with some balls unlike the last few years.

They never seemed to care the last 2-3 years.

Also grabovski has been playing WAY better than I expected, and proving me and probably a lot of others wrong, considering a lot of people wanted him gone, and replaced by Kadri. Its proving to be a good thing having him around so far. Maybe the whole Kadri situation, and the end of last year, and the off-season hate was a wake up call for him, because he seems to be stepping up his game.

He was good, but he was a bit of a wussy. He'd stir up shit and then run away and he didn't always put a lot of effort in on D.

He also only missed 11 games after testicular cancer surgery and led the Bruins in the 09 playoffs with 6 goals even thought it was known that he had a bad shoulder injury.

What does that have to with anything? The guy doesn't put in the effort on D and starts crap after the whistle and then quickly skates away when the shit is about to hit the fan. And actually, Marc Savard had the same amount of goals during the '09 playoffs and more assists and was a huge part of why he scored as much as he did in Boston.

And oddly enough, he was benched in the 3rd period last night.

Quote:
With Toronto protecting a one-goal lead in the third period, Phil Kessel was glued to the bench for a few shifts in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Pittsburgh.
Fourth-liner Mike Brown skated in Kessel's place with Tyler Bozak and Kris Versteeg to give the line more of a defensive presence. "Sitting out a few shifts is a lot louder than my voice," said coach Ron Wilson. "The bench screams."

I'm just saying that he's a warrior who works his ass off. Your acting like he's a pussy or something and I haven't really seen any of that from watching him with the Leafs.

he does struggle with defense though but I thought he was benched cause they were protecting that lead, guess not lol

He is a pussy and I'm glad the Bruins didn't invest 5 million a season into him.

Anyway, I'll let you guys enjoy the hot start and keep my mouth shut.

I just don't get how you critize him based on his D, I'm pretty sure burke and everyone else was well aware hes nothing special on D, he was brought in to score. At least thats what I always guessed.

Either way, it seems both sides are happy (well most) so i guess it works out anyway :P.

what the fuck does that mean?

Oh fuck, you're not that guy are you????? the guy that says shit like that as if he know's something everyone else in the room doesn't??

Acie, dudes cheer for teams they cheer for, going out of your way to provoke them is stupid.

(ya man, I used the word stupid, send me my infraction email now...but fuck, look at what I have to work with here)

:P

You like the B's, awesome, good on ya, your GM made a wonderful decision to up Chara... I hate your team. My Dad's uncle is a bloody legend of Bruins Hockey and I still hate um.... but you'll never get any smart arse holier than thou attitude from me man... its all just sports.

and ya, leaf fans ARE excited. 3-0 is a good start. they are about 10 games ahead of where they were last year already. They missed the playoffs by a hair last year.

So ya, you be the big guy, the wise old sage and let us idiots enjoy our teams early success.... were fucking grateful. Honestly. Do you think any of us give a rats ass what you think about the Toronto Maple leafs?

hockey mecca.
Center of universe.
team almost ALL nhlers wanna ply for but few have the capacity to do so.

Ya man.... were a proud bunch us leaf fans....and rightfully so.

Boston sucks moose balls!

You're condemning me for provoking people? haha

You're condemning me for talking shit?

No holier than thou attitude from you?

Well played.

And, they missed the playoffs by a hair?

Come on, you're better than that.

Having the second worse record in the league and finishing 15th out of 15 teams in the Eastern Conference is missing the playoffs by a hair?

agreed

you can try and paint a pretty picture for last season but the bottom line is that they weren't even in the same area code as the rest of their conference...they were fucking awful

but that's last year.....
