Is a chiped tooth really considered an injury?

It can be quite painful, so I guess so. It's actually a fracture.

hahaha Awesome

I have one that can qualify for that. When Spain won the world cup we dived into many of the fountains you can find in downtown madrid. In one of them, I grabbed a girlfriend of mine to throw her in, when I did, I slipped and felt with all my weight and hers to the botton of the fountain. I havent gone to the doc, but my kneecap is now in a diferent and weird position.

Ahh, I'm no doctor or anything but you may want to get that checked out.

well, the thing is that it was bad in the beggining, but after a week or so it didnt hurt and I could make sports normally. I know I have to go, I just dont want to hear that I need surgery, wich I guess is the probable thing.

+1.

Actually the only gripe i have about the list is the mention of Matsui's anal fissure. I work within healthcare, and i can say it's really not a laughing matter and the whole anal sex joke would probably be pretty far removed from reality. It's like making fun of an athlete for getting testicular cancer or something.

I don't know about that. Testicular cancer can be pretty serious in a way an anal fissure could never be. I agree it's in bad taste though and childish.

I heard he hyper-extended his moustache.

Torontosaurus 08-05-2011 10:08 AM

Where's Boozer's ridiculous pinky break?

Windex 08-05-2011 11:27 AM

I remember when a baseball player, David Justice?, had a nipple ring, slid trying to catch a baseball and ripped some skin or something

I swear I heard it somewhere... can't find it though

also some player was on the DL for 6 weeks because he injured himself while putting on his shoe. notice all these injuries happen to baseball players

That's because they're the finest athletes on the planet. Always pushing their bodies and such.

i remember David Wells was scheduled to start a game. after the anthems and everything when the game was about to start and the players taking the field, he pulled his groin when walking up the stairs of the dugout.

Correction: Orlando placed Earl Boykins on IR with tendinitis in his left
knee, not Corey Maggette (who has missed 2 games with an infected toe).

And speaking of Corey Maggette, he is the first candidate for this
season's most bizarre injury: the toe became infected after he received
a pedicure.

Quote:

Orlando Magic coach Doc Rivers, told that Corey Maggette had an infected toe from a pedicure: "They just don't make rookies like they used to."
