Joe Paterno...

..is a piece of shit.

The rest of the people that knew about this are also giant pieces of shit.

The fact that Paterno is being allowed to retire on his own terms is disgusting, and that circus last night made me fucking sick.

That is all

RaptorsandBuckeye FaN 11-09-2011 03:35 PM

I agree 1000000% with you Benzo.

jeffb 11-09-2011 03:39 PM

Completely agree. Deplorable

Chiggmo 11-09-2011 03:57 PM

The hell happened?

powerfulpanda 11-09-2011 04:31 PM

just an observation, not saying the hate is undeserved

Sandusky should be put in a room with the fathers of those kids for 2 hours , no doubt about it. He is going to jail for a very long time.

Next week Joe paterno will be coaching.

He should get as much imo. He's just as much to blame for any kid getting harmed after he knew what was going on and decided to be a coward.

Paterno could have stopped this but didn't. Paterno should have to answer to all the kids who were hurt because he didn't put a stop to this when he had the chance.

Sadusky is a POS. No doubt about that. The respect I had for Joe Pa is gone though. How he could know what was happening and not do anything about it, wow just wow.

At the end of the football season is when he said he will step down. That is 3 more week of games and bowl game(January).

Good chance he is fired before Saturday. Rumor is the board of trustees at Penn State want him gone and if that is true then he will be gone.

He sits in a skybox and doesn't even coach on the filed, has the wins record and his assistants do all the work
I don't see why he just doesn't leave now
only going to be a distraction for a team competing for a conference championship

PENN STATE FIRES PATERNO AS HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

link

Quote:

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Penn State trustees fired football coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier amid the growing furor over how the school handled sex abuse allegations against an assistant coach.

The massive shakeup Wednesday night came hours after Paterno announced that he planned to retire at the end of his 46th season.

But the outcry following the arrest of former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky on molestation charges proved too much for the board to ignore.

One key question has been why Paterno and other top school officials didn't go to police in 2002 after being told a graduate assistant saw Sandusky assaulting a boy in a school shower.

Paterno says he should have done more. Spanier has said he was not told the details of the attack.

Sandusky has denied the charges.

Rodney Erickson will serve as interim school president, and defensive co-ordinator Tom Bradley as interim coach.

State College, Pennsylvania (CNN) -- Hundreds of Penn State students spilled into the streets early Thursday after news that legendary coach Joe Paterno and the school's president were ousted over a child sex abuse scandal at the university.

What started as an apparent celebration of Paterno turned raucous, as the crowd in the central Pennsylvania town of State College tipped over a news van and decried the media.

The disturbance -- which cleared after a few hours -- came shortly after university trustees announced Wednesday night that Paterno, the winningest coach in major college football, and Penn State President Graham Spanier had lost their jobs, effective immediately.

"What can I say, I'm no longer the coach," Paterno told about 15 students gathered outside his house late Wednesday night. "It's going to take some time to get used to. It's been 61 years."

The crowd cheered and said, "We love you, Joe."
What the dill.

Someguy again 11-10-2011 12:08 PM

this becomes a joke when students riot because of a coach getting fired, but not because a child was molested.

Barracuda 11-10-2011 12:12 PM

This whole thing has just made me sick... and all the people rioting against his firing? Fucking deplorable. People suck.

RaptorsandBuckeye FaN 11-10-2011 12:45 PM

Just a rumor right now but...

Report: Jerry Sandusky Pimped Out Kids To Rich Donors

If this turns out to be ture, wow, just wow.
