If you were to put NFL players on CFL fields and CFL rules, you would have a much better game overall.

I love the deeper endzones and wider field and the missed field goal rules!

BTW, when I was a kid in the 70's, the Grey Cup was HUGE. Parties everywhere. My realitives use to come over and watch it with us.

Black-outs killed the CFL.

I remember some really swinging 70's Grey Cup parties. I could hardly wait to grow up so that I could get drunk and dress up as a woman.

The comparison to European pro bball leagues is valid. The overall talent pool isn't nearly as good, but players can develop in the CFL and become great professional football players. Greatness can still be achieved in the CFL at a level that most NFLers won't reach in the NFL, and that greatness can transition over ala D.Flutie, J.Garcia, and Warren Moon.

I remember for some time I was really bothered by the poor tackling in the CFL. Now I would take the kinds of hits and tackles dished out by players up here over all the missed tackles I see on teams like Dallas and Washington.

I only watch the Stampeders, by and large, but I do find them to be very talented altogether.
