Can't stand it. But it's popular in certain pockets of the country.

Watching it on television is a bit tiresome, but it's a ton of fun to play.

Not all football games are barn burners, especially in the NFL. I'd rather watch/play curling than watch 2 struggling NFL teams play each other.

Well, why is marrying your cousin so popular in Texas? I mean, that's an American stereotype...

No, I'm talking about Texas too. One of my boys goes down there a lot for business and says he's read about stuff like that happening in the state.

Curling is popular in Canada just like Nascar is popular in the states. I don;t know how people love watching a car constantly make left turns for 2-3 hours - it boggles my mind.

When it's world-class (Kevin Martin, Russ Howard, etc) and it's high-stakes (Brier finals, WC, Olympic) then it can be really good. They make some unbelievable shots.

Like almost any sport, though.... most of the entertainment comes from having a rooting interest. If you are cheering for somebody to win, it makes a huge difference.

I love playing it. A ton of fun. Kind of like bocce ball on ice. Watching it is only enjoyable when in it's a high level of competition.

The only reason football is popular is because of gambling. Otherwise it's a really, really boring game.

I've lived in North Carolina and I'd say that Nascar is probably more popular in the South than Curling is here. I remember I went to a "Nascarty" (Nascar party) as a kid, and I was the only kid who didn't show up dressed as a race car driver. Oh yeah, and Jeff Gordon was worshipped like a God down there.

Pretty much anywhere where people drive around with the Confederate Flag on their cars is where you're going to find Nascar.

I never understood the facination with watching cars being driven fast in a circle.
