How shitty would it have been to have the first "Canadian" gold winner end up being that dude?

I watched the whole final round of the event, and it was truly awesome to watch. I used to ski a good deal when i was younger and i was never particularilly good at moguls, but i always marvelled at how some people can fly over those bumps.

Alexandre's first jump was the best executed jump of the whole event IMO. Also from what we've seen of him in his interviews, he is showing to be most deserving of the honour of this accomplishment.
