Wow what a day so far. There's so much parity this year that seeding really doesn't mean all that much. I absolutely can't wait for Wake Forest and Texas tonight.

I'm officially on the St. Mary's bandwagon, what a fun team to watch. I don't know if they'll be successful long-term because of their reliance on the three point shot, but who knows what could happen if they stay hot.

Exactly they also move the ball incredibly well which is key to getting open shots and they have a good offensive post player. They are also crash the boards despite their size. I think they beat Nova saturday.

Georgetown needs to get some stops/go on a run soon or it's party over.

What a first day of the tourney. Maybe the best first day ever. lol

First day - 16 games - You had
- 4 blowouts(10+ point wins) = One was a #14 seed upsetting a #3 seed(Ohio over GT)
- 12 games under 10 points
- 8 games under 5 points
- 3 3 point games
- 1 2 point game
- 3 1 point games
- 4 GW shots(under 5 seconds left)
- 3 OT games(one was Double OT)

7 lower seeds winning the game( 1 #14 seed, 1 #13 seed, 2 #11 seed, 1 #10 seed, 2 #9 seed).

Also was nice to see Ohio with the upset! One I am from Ohio and live here all my life so nice to see them home team winning. Also it could help the Buckeyes out! A lot of people had GT beating Ohio State in the sweet 16. Go Bucks!

If the tourney is any indication, Ohio State will still face a stiff challenge
Big East has looked bad so far

how many people already have their brackets messed up?
I heard on ESPN there is only 54 perfect brackets left

Yeah my bracket got busted up pretty bad.

One of the best days of the Madness I've ever seen. As soon as you thought you'd seen the game of the day, you'd see an even more exciting one. I'm out $15 but it was worth the extra context.

In any case it will be a fun game. I don't think you'll see Scotty Reynolds go 2/15 two games in a row. Nova is too good to play so poorly two games in a row. That and I'm in denial because I have Nova going to the final four in both of my brackets....

thats why March Madness is the one sporting event I don't bet on

I think St. Mary's will have a problem if Sandman is in foul trouble since he's the only inside presence and Richmond didn't have any quality big men to stop him
at least Nova has some big bodies inside

I'm only 22/32. Lost Gtown and Marq. The 2nd rd. is important to my bracket.
St. Marys is a scrappy team. 'Nova finally showing up in the 2nd half.

I had Villanova going to the final four but I knew St Marys could make a run. Dammit I should have gone with my gut. And I agree Samhan is a beast. But can he do well in the NBA? I dont think so.
