I hate Agassi.

Way to go Pete.

heh.

I liked Agassi over Sampras back in the day, but i'm going to have to say that Andre didn't make himself look too good there.

Hey at least the people got entertained.

Sampras for the WIN!! :yeah:

fancylad 03-16-2010 02:57 PM

Sampras should have come back with a crystal meth retort.

To tell the truth, Agassi opened himself up to it.

If you read Agassi's book his "walk" is a result of a messed up spinal condition. Sampras stooped pretty low. Agassi got personal too but only after Sampras opened it up.

Pete Sampras, along with Stefan Edberg, are my most favourite tennis players of all time but, I have to say, when there was a Sampras-Agassi match, I just sat back and enjoyed the show.

spinal condition? The guy was a professional athlete!

As i said, i was always an Agassi fan up until he retired, but pardon me if i don't get all worked up about a spinal condition that allowed him to compete and excel at professional tennis longer than most players.

I don't doubt that Agassi sensationalized some things for his book. I don't exactly buy the fact that he had a crystal meth problem, nor do I believe that he didn't enjoy tennis. Apparently though, the spinal condition wasn't painful, it just restricted his walking movement.

Who knows really.
