What's a Grey Cup?

Seriously, is that the worst halftime show ever or what?

Were Helix and Honeymoon Suite busy?

The Grey Cup is a silver cup that lacks luster, much like the CFL.

I'll be cheering for the Als.

It would be a nice to see Anthony Calvillo hoist the silverware after a difficult time in his life.

BTW. Hoops, that fella in your avatar. that's Mike Labinjo right? St. Mike's represent!
whatever happened to his NFL career?

Bro, you should be cheering for the Stamps! I was friends with Mike - I was with him on the football and basketball teams - he was a complete joker.

As for his NFL career - he did play with Philly when they went to the Super Bowl years ago. He's a big boy - He's gonna be a true difference maker on Sunday.

Go Stamps!

fancy lad thinks the NFL is the most boring, overly commercial, over-hyped, waste of an entire day of the week excuse for a "sport".

Fancy lad realises he's probably alone.

I'm a fan of both leagues and I can say without hesitation taht the CFL is a much more entertaining product with the longer fields and 3 downs. You're never officially out of a game in the CFL.

I haven't been much of a CFL fan for many years, but I do enjoy watching the Stamps - my old team. I was a kid when they beat Toronto in '71 I think. Toronto had the ball on the one yard line at the end of the game and fumbled it away. I was too busy bawling to notice, and nobody could convince me that the Stamps won the game - I was sure they were just lying to get me to stop bawling. What a fan!

Anyway these days I mostly just enjoy thinking about all the Edmontonians that have to watch Calgary win a Cup. City of Champions my ass.

I've always been partial to the Hamilton Tiger-cats myself. Don't really know why. I guess i have a soft spot for the city, and it's working class qualities.

Again, i'm not much of an american football fan at all. While i absolutely hate the NFL, i can enjoy a CFL game here and there. I usually watch the grey cup.

Anyways, I've always rooted for the tabbies... even though there hasn't been much cheering in a LONG while. I miss the likes of Danny McManus, Montford, Darren Flutie, and my fave: Paul Osbaldiston

Mike Labinjo was a beast against BC, 3 sacks 8 tackles.

They should merge both the NFL and CFL to make a mega league.

NFL players on a CFL field, that would be fun to watch.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa...any league with this much history that consistently has competitive championship games and where the final is more often than not played outdoors (instead of some sunny destination) is not a joke.

Damn, do I have to ban you again?

Labinjo deflected 4 passes and got a sack, good game.

Calgary won the Field Goal Cup

Mike was a beast on the field tonight. Gonna have to take him out for a few celebratory drinks when he comes home.
