Nah, Gretz wasn't chosen for the shootout in Nagano. It's times like the Olympics where if you run into a hot goaltender, you can ride him a pretty far and cause disruptions all over the place.

In 98, it was Hasek for the Czech Republic
In 06, Martin Gerber was stellar for the Swiss - they beat Canada 2-0.
Henrik Lundqvist was also lights out.

I must admit but in 2002 I found Catrina Le May Doan an extremely hot speed skater.

There I said it

My friend worked for a TV show that had her on as a guest.

Apprently she's quite attractive in person and likes to have a good time.

I don't mind the canadian jokes, but those weren't even remotely funny. The organic waste one was especially dumb.

ctv's coverage has been surprisingly bad today. annoying on the street reporters, bad directing, audio fuck-ups.

What's up with the opening and closing ceremonies being held indoors in that dump of a stadium? Isn't it just sort of assumed that the host city's going to build a beautiful new outdoor stadium where people have to wear jackets and hats? And snow. Snow's assumed.
