Mehhh. I watched the end of the Canada/USA game and it was ok, but i've lost my interest in the sport. That game was "great" and i'm still not interested in the sport anymore.

I'd rather watch Chris Rock on HBO right now.

Oh my God. of course they have to go down all together in the final corner and screw the leader out of the gold

oops my bad, he did himself. odd.

Canadian gold. And bronze too after a DQ.

way to go Charles Hamelin.. You're not the biggest choker of the Olympics after all.

Joke aside, he totally deserved to win that race. Good for him.

And i'm happy Apollo Ohno got disqualified... i don't know about anyone else, but i've just had enough of him recently. The crazy media hype, his goofy forced yawning before every race, his capitalizing mostly on other DQ's and falls to getting his medals. FU Ohno!

What sport did Holland get their non skating gold in BTW? I must have missed it.

Women's Snowboard downhill slalom. Where they go two at a time in 2 heats and then by elimination. Not surprised it got snowed under in between all the Canadian succes lol.

btw, totally agree on Ohno.

ah cool. I think the Snowboarding was on earlier in the day while i was at work - hence i missed it.

Another intense night of bobsled also. Lots of sleds falling. Canadian sleds sit in 2nd and 6th through 2 runs. German sleds occupy the rest of the top 10 ( ). Pierre Leuders (6th) was majorly pissed in a post race interview. He pretty much stormed off after a few seconds and blamed the course/falling sleds ahead of him on his performance. He lost it a bit, but it's understandable that he would be mad (probably partly at his own performance).

Yeah a lot of crashes. We actually have a bobshled team too this time but they pulled out before the competition started. Pilot didn't feel confident enough on this course after having competed in the 2-bob and having crashed and almost again on a couple of occasions after that one.

They actually had a lot of money invested in a new bob and design and all that scientific stuff and were very ambitious before the Olympics, I think they scored a podium on a world cup event once or something that got their hopes up.

WOW what a suspense in the dying minutes of Canada-Slovakia

That course really does push it. There's one turn in particular that causes all the falls. However, the course was designed and approved by the sliding sport federation or whatever they're called, so in the end fingers can be pointed there and there alone.

yeah - crazy finish in ice hockey, Thank you Demitra for not being able to hit an empty net! Luongo looked to be razzing him a bit during the handshake (but i'm sure they're friends as they play on the same NHL team).

We're guaranteed at least 23 medals now. Nice haul imo.

Wow a close call there vs. Slovakia. I knew they would give us a run for our money. Sadly it came to late
