This is what Wayne Parrish needs to do;

Talk to Leo Rautins about what is best for Canadian basketball, which is quite obvious.

Leo needs to step down, and they need to crawl to Triano and beg him to coach the the Men's Senior team for the 2012 olympics.

Steve Nash needs to play for Canada one last time. The Suns suck, Steve is still one of the best players in the game and the last time he played internationally he was simply unstoppable.

Canada is an improved squad with Joel Anthony, perhaps Bonner and others. With Nash, I think they'll have a legitimate shot at a bronze medal.

It needs to happen.

That's a ridiculous facepalm. You are completely alone if you don't want to see Nash suit up for the national team one last time for the summer olympics.

let's not forget Samuel Dalembert. Guy has character issues no doubt, but can easily be a bigtime contributor to this team. I agree with you that the program needs a new coach. Anyone remotely experienced in coaching a player i have heard of would suffice and be an improvement. This team needs a coach good at player management as bad as it needs strategical coaching. But unfortunately national programs in this country that aren't hockey do not have the budgets to hire the best choice.

It's not even about having a good coach....ability is irrelevant.

Triano has history with Nash. Simple as that. That history and relationship should have Rautins and Parrish grovelling at Triano's feet, begging for him to take his old position back.
