Canada Rowan Barrett Jr - Next Canadian Phenom?

Powerade 24 (<<<link)

Saw this short piece on RJ Barrett on TSN. Some of you will remember his father, Rowan Barrett. Played for team Canada at many events in the past 15 years.

Cool to see kids getting attention at a young age in Canada like they do in hockey (Crosby, Mackinnon, etc.).

13 years old, 6'2. Honestly not sure how normal that is for NBA players but that seems huge for me, considering he probably has another growth spurt and then some coming.

he looks bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled than his peers, that's always a good sign

its just nice to see someone positive developing and helping there son get the most out of his goals and dreams, not everyone is lucky enough to have a father like that,

it makes you think about LeBron who didn't have father around, and now the guy is a great family man, and despite what people say a great leader

it makes LeBron even more impressive that he made it into the nba, the odds were stacked against him from the start

Winning the genetic lottery was a pretty strong asset.

Yup, seems like he's got a nice future.

13 years old would put him in grade 8 right? So HS next year, will be nice to follow him as he grows.
