![]() I think what will be very interesting is the roster for next summer's qualifying for the 2014 worlds. It should be a transition year, with some of the new guard but still some vets from the last few years.
Point The incumbants are Anderson and C. Joseph. It will be too early for Ennis, Rathan-Mayes and Zabo. Pangos and Kabongo should challenge. Maybe Cadougan gets a look based on his experience advantage over Pangos and Kabongo, but I think in the end it will be Anderson (need to keep the vet for one more season), and two of C. Joseph, Pangos, and Kabongo. SG/SF The incumbants are Rautins, English, Brown and Shepherd. K. Joseph, D. Joseph and Heslip should challenge for spots. Probably too early for Wiggins and Stauskas to be realistic candidates. Bigs Anthony and Thompson probably the starters. Nicholson first off the bench. Given the struggles of Wiltjer, Birch, and Powell during the 11/12 seasons, maybe Kendall keeps his spot for at least one more season. Maybe Ashaolu gets a look. Probably too early for Bennett, and definitely too early for Lyles. So my guess for 2013 Tournament of Americas: Anderson C. Joseph Pangos Rautins English Heslip K. Joseph Nicholson Thompson Kendall Sacre Anthony By 2015 qualifying for 2016 Olympics, I think there will be more turnover, especially up front, with Birch, Wiltjer, Bennett, and Lyles being ready to challenge for spots. With those four guys, along with Nicholson, Thompson, and Sacre, we have good, young depth at F and C, with maybe even Bhullar, Bhullar, or Watkins, also in the mix, depending on their development. At guard/wing, Wiggins will take a spot, and I think point will be turned entirely over to some combo of Pangos, Kabongo, and C. Joseph (with maybe Ennis ready to challenge them later). |

![]() Starting lineup?
C.Joseph/Pangos/Heslip Rautins/English/C.Joseph K.Joseph/English/Rautins Thompson/Nicholson/Kendall Anthony/Kendall/Sacre We need more depth at the 3 spot. Going on into the future we have a lot of point guard talent. |
