aight, got a request from the only guy who seems to voice their opinion in this forum (twodigitz)so i'll try to help him out and put out my pre-day gametime leans.

the first game for tomorrow, the BOS/ORL game (I feel better on this game than the second game)...I really think the loss of skip to my lou is gonna hurt the magic. I think pietrus is gonna get the start and the ball handling will fall on hedo as he and j.j. will be the primary ball handlers. I can see the magic's offense still there as 3's galore will still be hoisted on the part of magic BUT i think their D will suffer GREATLY with the loss of skip. I just don't know who is gonna be able to match the speed of rondo now. anthony johnson WILL NOT be able to keep up with rondo and if the magic go big I think they will be exposed in the pick and roll. FOr these reasons I'm leanin BOS ATS.
As for the O/U I'm STRONGLY leanin on the over cuz I see the magic bein able to score 1)i think superman and pierce are due for a big game (more so superman), 2)i think orland will be shootin from the land of 3 a lot, 3) Boston's offense will be step for step with orlando as i just don't see anyone bein able to stop rondo tomorrow and 4) late in the game I see a lot of fouls bein called and ft's as a result.

THe second game, I find my lakers against the rockets and is the game I really don't know how it will play out... NOTE:I didn't even watch game two as I was at the dodgers game watchin the blue crew lock up the record of home wins to start a season (lucky number 13) and I'm still not sure if game one was a peek into whats to come or if that game and letting the rockets back in during game 2 was a wake up call as their need to get their shiet together and start gettin mentally tough like the cavs and nuggets. As for the O/U i'm leanin on the under as I feel the rockets always seem to step up their D on their home court, especially after last game, I just see battier and artest takin it upon themselves to lock up kobe.
As for the ATS line...I really like the lakers (i guess that was an obvious homer pick) but I still feel that the lakers have their number and are the better team. Game 1 was a debacle. Game 2 (which I didn't get to watch..other than checkin the score everyone inning during the dodger game) had the lakers up big durin the first half to give it away. Second half from what I gathered they contolled most of that half as well. I'm hopin after watchin the cavs dismantle the hawks tonight that they will step up to the challenge and take this one. WIth the loss of fisher I don't see it as much of a problem cuz then brown and farmer will get more burn and i think they will be able to keep up with brooks a lot better than d-fish. I think d-fish is an assest with his veteran leadership and is key when he has to man-handle point gaurds with his strength but the quick ones have shown that fisher can't keep up. Therefore, I'm thinkin that might help out the lakers. Plus, give me a team that has won 5 of 6 against a team this season I'll take that team ATS when the line is -1 which is why i think the play is lakers ATS or no play at all.

NOTE: I'm sorta nervous about tomorrow's games cuz i gave my homie "the cooler" this websites URL address so he might have seen these picks and played them himself...shiet, even his lookin at them would be enough to make my picks not come in...dayum.

i really like your write up on bos/orl...even though i like it i still think the magic will take it for the EXACT reasons you mentioned...
i just think the line is a little too high especially since skip to my lou is out...dont you think the oddmakers know this? also on i noticed most of the plays going to boston but the line keeps movin up toward orlando, which tells me the sharps are on orlando....

the game i was in question about...
wow again, i had the same kind of approach to this game like you did BUT i was in different forums and someone mentioned that the lakers as a road fav by 2.5 or less are 0-4 this season. now also the lakers have won in houston the last 2 times there and won 3 out of the last 4. but this line to me is fishy, and with that road fav. ats record i think the books know more money will be coming in on the lakers but the sharps will definitely be on houston....

i think im going to go with a small parlay with orlando and houston and will ride your over under for both games as straight bets...

no offense but it really seems like this cooler guy is in your head so until you seem like you are back on track i will trend very lightly...

hopefully you will go 4-0 especially your side bets cuz i rather see someone win 2 solid straight plays than my small parlay for less than .25 units...

Aight...I'm gonna put out four official picks...after lookin around and your post you scared me off takin boston ATS in the game as I realize I might have been too quick to jump on the "magic are missin a key player" band wagon like i did when lee and superman were out against philly...I will ride BOS/ORL O 189, LAL/HOU U 194, LAL ATS -1 (this might be a trap but i'm biting on this one) and I'm goin with the game prop of 3pt's made over 14.5 (this is one prop I've rode since the begining of the series and I'm gonna ride it til the well runs dry)...I really like the U in the LAL/HOU game and am gonna count it as two official plays so I guess I technically have 5 plays goin but just on 4 plays.

the cooler effect is on as I went 2-4 last night...gosh dang that first quarter in the laker game, they came out like gang busters and then houston has to start foulin with over a minute left and keep it up with 10 seconds left when the game was already out of reach...and then missed the game prop by the dreaded .5...dang it...anyways, my postseason total is now 42-30-1 (with specific breakdown below)
