What would you like to see at RF?

Is it next season yet?

Kay guys and gals, throughout the summer (during those long, slow, dragging like a cigarette type of days) we're looking for ways in improving the forum and site. But obviously we want feedback from you guys the users in helping us better the site for ya'll while also making it more appealing to the people that visit here that aren't members .... YET.

I just want to pick your brains seeing how lots of you visit other message boards via in the net and are there things we don't have that you wouldn't mind seeing at RaptorsForum? Keep in mind these are things that must be feasible.

Anyhow, this place is as much mine as it is yours, so any suggestions you might have please don't hesitate to post them. If your tentative about posting them in public, then don't hesitate to PM me as well.

On behalf of owners and moderators here at RaptorsForum thanks again for all your contributions this past season and I'm already looking forward to next season here at RF. So, any comments or suggestions .... speak up dudes and dudettes.

Just a prettier design. What - am I some kind of Mac freak? But it's not entirely necessary, just a wish for the longterm. What is already here is plenty enough satisfying gawl darn.

Just more graphic abilities with sigs, the ability to post youtube vids, and that sort of thing. I like pictures. But at the same time I enjoy this place as a substantive text-based place, and it could be a lot worse with all kinds of busy stuff and facebook-like implementations. I guess I'm just saying that the only place where it could improve, is in looking fresher from time to time. But that's the case with anything, and it could very well not be worth the work involved. So I stress longterm, and my general, overall satisfaction.

As long as you're around to start threads Doc, this place is the shit. There's no underestimating the value in your talents that way. I tried to play your part over at EBS for a few days, and soon recognized that. Beyond that, it's the people here that make the difference, and you could go back to some kind of DOS look and I'd still enjoy it.

As for sigs, it was a consensus vote at the time to get rid of the signatures mostly because it kept everything clean and tidy but I'd be open to bringing them back if the majority supported that idea. I just know that some places get carried away with them and their too freakin' humongous.

Posting You Tube videos are in full effect here already and have been for quite some time and done the exact same way as you would do it at EBS. If you have problems don't hesitate to ask.

Great! And i can go with the consensus on the sigs, since really it does tend to lend itself to facebook-like excesses.

Got nothing to complain about - the site is great, however I would support enabling sigs with limited size and content if everyone would agree.

I think no sigs makes it more tidy and organized. I say keep it the way it is.

I have nothing to complain about neither. This is a great board, definitely different from some other boards (in a good way, obviously

That's an issue with your computer Kuzzy, not the site. We've haven't been down or had any issues with the site for a couple months now.
