From the first days ive been here, ive always witnessed a problem from the home page. the threads which are active and/or new are showcased on the home page when lets say person x enters the site. a thread named lets say thread y catches his/her mind. the person clicks on this thread and is taken to thread m from a past date, sometimes years before hand. This problem was not too big of an issue before because only 5-10 percent of the threads were like this. however lately almost half of the threads i click on take me to the wrong page. i was just wondering if this problem happens with others as well and if so what can be done to fix it?

The only time this ever happens to me is on my blackberry. Especially the daily dish and Game threads. If i go on those threads i get Daily Dish 2008 or at times some thread on Marbury, and i also get Game threads from a couple years back.

Yea that happens to me too on 5-10% of the threads not a big deal i guess. Sometimes it also says that i don't have a permission (or something like that) to view the thread, but when i go trough the forum it works fine.

i get this problem as well sometimes when i try to click a thread on the homepage.. not a big deal though as it evidently does not discourage me from visiting the forum.

I can't get it to happen on my computer, but I bet it is related to the "#post" part of the URL.
"http://www.raptorsforum.com/f/f6/mavs-odom-agree-part-ways-22690.html#post634926" If I replace #post634926 with #post434926 then I get taken to the hip-hop thread from 2 years ago. Sure sounds like the "#post" stuff is being messed up by certain browsers or something. |

I always get sent to a Wizards thread, which no one commented on... like two- years ago? and something like fatigue isn't an issue or something like that... the a "Anyone else surprised how well the Wizards are playing lately?!" I always laugh at that, hah.... Poor Wizards.

This happens to me so much especially on my phone, at least on my computer it redirects to the actual thread you want to go to but it doesn't do that on my phone >.>.
Especially the fantasy draft, it takes me to a page about John Lucas coaching D: |

FIX
visit http://www.raptorsforum.com/f/ pick the forum/section and find the thread that was messing up. whenever i load the threads via the message boards and not the initial RF page, it works fine. |
