Seriously...Thumbs Down

It provides a good medium to communicate feedback to douchebags without telling them they are dumbasses. It's only bad idea to the overly-sensitive.

People can still be douchy with the thumbs up by simply thumb-upping bullshit or lame responses to something they should of thumb-downed.

thumb-downing provides a much needed balance.

I suggest implementing it for a 3 day trial.

I Recommend.

if i remember correctly, we had that for a while, and what a joke that turned out to be. And then they removed it.

I remember people using it much differently - using it to be douchy, and in the shadows. I agree that something similar is happening with the thumbs up. Maybe we should get rid of the thumbs up. How sad is that?

It would be more interesting if it showed separate counts of the number of thumbs up and thumbs down rather than an overall total (e.g.: -5 +2 rather than -3).

If you want to kill the anonymity, you could create a link to view who voted on it, much like the link to view poll results. Likely too much effort for such an insignificant detail though.
