Wow a member thankful. Well I guessing that makes a least two of us members. I'm sure more but not many

make that three :yeah: yeah this forum is hella great .. i come here to read my daily articles about the raps (raptorland) and it's always fun when its game time (especially when theres a tsn2 game) and with the raptors slacking and all the controversy (who to trade ? who to fire ? lol) it keeps the forum healthy.. overall the forum is spectacular! the owner should be proud, greeat mods, interesting people and dr. j is always on top of things his like a robot . i think we should give him an appreciation thread !

Thanks for the kind words StresS, DVS and logicz. It is rare to hear members giving their thanks. For the most part alot of people take a place for RF for granted and come here to act like idiots and cause nothing but headaches. :)

As for the owners, we can thank lang and Jay for providing us with a great place to chat ball and make new friends. Cheers to them both.

An idiot making a comment here.

I never knew that there were passionate Raptors fans and this forum has opened my eyes. I always thought Toronto was all about the Leafs but with you guys the Raptors fans are heard all will be heard in the . Hopefully the Raptors are more relevant in Toronto's sports culture.

Look around the NBA TO2988.... look at some other arenas.

There are more passionate basketball fans in toronto than MANY cities in the U.S.

and yes. This forum is the best webpage on the entire internet.

True but some of that can be attributed to bad basketball teams.

When I left Toronto in 2000 the Raps weren't that big.

I remember the Jays being bigger than the Raps and of course the Leafs.

How popular are the Raps now around Toronto these days?

Oh i'd say number 2 at this point. It's hard to compare as some sports are played in opposite parts of the year, but the general feeling i get is that the raps are ahead of the jays.

anyways, funny you mention bad teams because from what i remember, the raps were drawing pretty good audiences back during the rebuilding Babcock era. better than many rebuilding US teams at least.

In any case, i say toronto is one of the stronger basketball markets in North America.
