Gametime Chatroom?

Okay so I went to the Gameday Raps vs Sixers thread and what I saw was like..
Everytime I refreshed or changed pages another about 5 posts were added. During commercial about a page of posts was added in between the game timeouts.
So what I'm suggesting is to make a chatroom kind of thing so that real-time posts can be made instead of posting on a game thread. Have mods or something to keep spammers off.

We tried already Flash and there wasn't that much interest. People seem to prefer the standard way like we have now.

Anyhow, once the game is over we're going to start a post game thread so people don't have to sift through the hundreds of posts.

I only thought of this because I was on Justintv yesterday watching Lakers vs Blazers streamed(Kobe 23/11

)
The chatroom was flooding even on slow mode(1 post a minute)
Can we have something like that here if that's possible?(Live streaming)

My blog has a chatroom it is Java based and holds like 100 people and if the people on Raptors Forum want to use it for anything feel free to do so. I have done some chat events and it usual gets a group of hardcores but are generally small.

But the offer is open and there is a link on my blog to the room so your free to post it here if you like for your use as well

I like the chat room idea much better than posting on forums.
There's just alot more flow.

Their too much work unless you have 10 people moderating them during games which we don't.

Anyhow, Dino Nation runs one as does Raptors Republic too, so feel free to check them out too guys.

Chat rooms are a commitment throughout the year to run and I may be on these forums alot, but they'll be games that I won't be online for.

So, if it ain't broke ... don't fix it I say.
