Canada Basketball Board

I think you guys should make a board for the Canadian Senior Mens Basketball Team as well as all things relating to Canada Basketball including the Junior Teams, Womens Team, and up and coming Canadians in the NCAA, CIS ,CCAA, Overseas, Etc...

I don't know if there would be enough constant discussion to have a seperate board dedicated to the subject.

I know we talk about basketball Canada related stuff when we hear about it.

just my opinion though. If others think differently, then maybe you're onto something.

Great idea, but I also can't see there being too much traffic.

Perhaps we can make a sticky thread in the NBA section?

I'm pretty sure even with the sticky there won't be too much traffic....

Yeah, if people want to discuss Canadian basketball then feel free to start a thread and one of the mods here can "sticky" it. I don't forsee creating another sub-forum dedicated to our Canadian program gaining all that much interest unfortunately.

I would have to disagree with you, I think there are enough people interested in our National Team and with basketball becoming more and more popular in Canada I think there is an appetite for discussion revolving around our current teams, etc.. So build it and they will come........Quite frankly the current attitude towards our National Program and Canada Basketball stinks and is very immature on some peoples parts to belittle the program. Canada Basketball is working very hard in partnership with the Raptors in order to strengthen the overall game in Canada. So to exclude discussion and ideas about current Canadian players, coaches ,etc..is an insult to the very country that created this wonderful game. The great Canadian himself, Mr James Naismith im sure would encourage a discussion board on the game he created.

OK, I'll ask lang to create a sub-forum in the Raptors section and we'll see how it goes. If after a while it still becomes a barren wasteland then we'll scrap the idea. But I'll let you to prove us wrong then.
