Lol.. I was born in Montreal and lived there until I was 6 so that's who I root for. Toronto would be my 2nd though.. in spite of all the hate haha.

lol.... You have good excuse.... I mean reason.

And I feel the same way about the soccer teams.... I just cheer for the English teams. Some allegiance to Liverpool from the Michael Owen days, but mostly just want to see Eng-er-land do well.

Do yourself a favour don't bother entering a Man U supporters bar. You would be thrown out instantly

Sounds like we need a number 7..... fans who are way too hardcore about their team.

Very untrue..... if you ever get to a point where you have hostility towards people just because of who they support, you need to check yourself. It's all for fun.

Oh... nevermind then... i didn't get that meaning from your initial post. I took "hard-core" in more of a playful way. you know... eat, drink, sleep the team (for example i'm actually listening to my This is Anfield - Liverpool's greatest hits CD right now).

getting violent or hostile is just insane. i'm not about any of that.

cool.... I was just responding to DVS' comment that TO would be treated poorly in a ManU bar because he wasn't a strong enough supporter. Rubbish.

1. The March College Fan. Hello? Conference Championships? Conference Regular Season? Out of Conf. Games? The NCAA is problably the most entertaining product of basketball IMHO and it shouldn't be sold short to just the tourney. Their is a reason why the Big East rules the roost and the likes of Duke are no longer big guys. Why? Read about and watch some games other than the March Madness Show. Also, don't pretend like your an expert if your leading in the bracket because its pretty much luck of the draw.

2. The Hockey Puck - To all "hockey pucks" hitting from behind is bad, a point for losing is idiotic and fighting is not a part of the game (hence why the clock is stopped). The hockey puck pisses me off so much this is all I shall write.

3. The "Glory Hunter" - Yes I"m talking to you Man U fans that became one as soon as Ronaldo was looking like a star, I'm talking to you Yankee fan from Windsor that has no business being a fan, I'm talking to you Barcelona fan that is from an Irish backround and CANADIAN. Like please give it up.

4. The "bandwagon jumper' - Hey all you guys fed of with BC and "not a fan anymore" stop reading this post because we don't want you here. This forum is for True basketball fans only get the hell out.

5. The "expert" - You know those guys that haven't watched an inch of basketball but tell you what the coach should be running. Or they give you a full scouting report on why Jose Calderon will be the best PG ever. Please give it up and just watch the game and learn something. Heck go to a House league and coach some kids and realize it ain't that easy to run a team.

6. My sport is better than every other sport fan - Don't you hate those fans that just knock soccer for diving and haven't watched a lick of the game. Or just continue to tramp on BBALL and say "oh just watch the last 2 minutes and its figured our" guy.

7. the worst fans are fans that judge other fans

Ok there are many other discriptions but every March Madness I go on a rampage and want to kill all these fans

Your thoughts?

My thoughts?

You fit 100% into Fan scenario #7.

Perhaps you oughtta look at that!

Lol... I doubt I'd ever go to a Man. U supporter's bar. I rarely follow soccer at all unless it's the World Cup.

But I guess that I've also felt some allegiance to Man U. because Dwight Yorke (who's from the island of Tobago where my dad's family grew up) played for them.

Not that I need to justify myself to anyone here.

I'm a Raps fan more than anything else. So being a "Glory Hound" is just out of the question lol.

i hate people who are fans of players not teams. whenever the player gets traded, they follow his new team. I know some people who did that with VC and AI. Its so annoying

I'm not a hardcore fan myself. I'm a memeber of the Manchester United fan club (canadian chapter), but I don't attend the Main Event on a regular basis - I haven't been kicked out once for being there.

It depends though how you look at it. Right now I'm Cavs fan... but not really... just a lebron James fan. So if he leaves cleveland... I have no reason to cheer for them.. so guys like christiano ronaldo on Man u... the guys cheer for him more than that particular team. I used to be a Man U fan because of Beckham... now I hate them because of Ronaldo.

The only teams I like regardless of players are the home teams (including TFC!).
