You just missed my point totally. It's cool, I choose to stay out of this.

I have and no one is impressive. Ford has a reputation of looking after the dollar and he will shake things up. Its the best of a bad situation.

I'm confident both frontrunner will create a shit show in city hall and rather have one over the other. Just for the look of Adam Vaughn's face if Ford gets in is enough for me.

you spoke of certainty, and his plan is nothing but vagaries blatant falsehoods. you can't possibly claim, regardless of what the other candidates are proposing, that his plan constitutes financial certainty in any sense of the word. it is not evident in any way how he plans to make the numbers work. and they simply don't work. that is not certainty.

you continually point fingers at other candidates, but this is not an issue of what others are proposing, this is an issue of what he is proposing. we can discuss smitherman's or pantalone's financial plan as well, if you wish, but completely independent of what those proposals are, ford's cannot possibly be described as financial certainty. it is, at root, a complete obfuscation of financial details.

Ford's plan may not "mesure up" in reality its the concept I'm looking for. I'd rather take Ford's concept and ambition over the other candidates. I'll talk about Smithermans budget and his policies oh hydro on the provincial level and his E help debacle as well. Politicians that "step" down from a highe position always scare me

Speaking of bashing. Smither was out bashing Ford today at a YMCA. Saying he won't approve affordable housing in certain areas. Funny he didn't mention the buidling he was talking about was priced out at 260 000 a unit. Ya thats affordable

we know exactly what we're getting into. no one is saying we don't. we're saying that what he thinks is 'right' is a complete bunch of lies. this video is mind-bogglingly short-sighted and paints both an incorrect picture of ford's plan and an incorrect picture of what his opponents are saying. i hope no one is foolish enough, even if they want to vote for ford, to think that this video is anything but lies and nonsense.

Sadly you're probably right. This city always elects schmucks.

The last hope is for Pantalone's supporters to switch to Smitherman. I doubt that's going to happen though.

But there is something I don't get: why would you vote for a candidate in a municipal election when you know they aren't going to win? It's not like the federal or provincial system where you vote for a representative to represent your riding. Doesn't your vote count for nothing, if the candidate you chose doesn't become mayor?

*sigh* Election day *sigh*

Going to vote over my lunch hour ... not happy about voting over my lunch hour but there isn't going to be any other time.

At least, after today, I will no longer have to see "Vote Rob Ford" ads on my Internet Broadway channel.

Your employer must pay you 3 hours of their time if you can't make it to vote

Today is an epic day. I shall eat a double down sandwich while thinking of voting for Rob Ford.

Sometimes you want to see their policies get in place. Bloc party does it all the time for Federal elections

I'm not familiar with Rob Ford's policies, plans or his goals for the city. I won't pretend to be aware of them either.

However, I'd prefer not to have a mayor who gets into fights with citizens at leaf games. I'd like a mayor who doesn't judge me by the colour of my skin. Whether I am a hardworking coloured person or not, I don't wanted to be judged based on my skin.

As well, I don't find any of the candidates qualified for this election.

That is all.

Yah, I love how citizens can tolerate stuff like that but have an issue when charities and festivals block streets to raise awarenesses about issues like heart disease..."Damn that traffic is bad! We gotta get rid of this!" "My taxes are too high!"

Sorry but i find it hard to trust a guy who's been arrested for DUI, Drugs, Domestic abuse and has been kicked out of a sporting event for having a shouting match with another fan.

IMO, this guy is a hot head, with an awful temper and piss poor judgement, not to mention unprofessional.

Espeacially after saying that his charges on drug posession had "slipped his mind". Yeah i'll trust that.
