It will always be like this, and once gas isn't the preferred method of transportation and living. (Once it runs out) The US or whoever is the superpower of the world at the time, will take over the next big resource whatever it may be. Military industrial complex. Look it up.

When it starts to run out will cause another world war, with countries looking to seize the last remaining stores of oil for themselves. wont be much left to take over next big resource.

Need to make the change now into hydrogen power, clean emmission of oxygen

Lol, and once the oil runs out there will be countries trying to seize it alright, and we think the US is on our side, but guess who has the second largest oil reserve in the world behind the Saudis? Canada. Bingo. The US won't hesitate for a second to come up here and take our oil, and once that happens what will we do? Will we fight back? That would be a pointless 8 minutes wasted.

If you think countries will still rely upon oil in the next 10 years or so, I laugh at that.

What's the next big thing right now? Ethanol based fuels. How is ethanol produced? Through corn. What state right now has the largest corn field and hell subsidizes corn fields? That's right! The United States. The U.S. is already ahead of the game. It's more that the rest of the world is far behind.

Lol, if you think that the world will just move on from oil to "the next big thing" than I am laughing at that.

Oil is used for way too many things to just be forgotten about and for the world to move on. Ethanol Based Fuels? Whats that good for?

Oil is used for far too many common day necessities to be forgotten about. From make-up to deodorants, to garbage bags to transportation for cars. Oil is used for essentially everything around us. Hell, even this keyboard I'm typing on had the letterpad made out of some oil based substance.

PS: I never knew the US was a state?
