How sad.

The shootings came after a tribal meeting was held and the members decided to go after the victims.

On March 26, four additional men were fatally shot in the same city, the official said, adding that the victims had also been disowned by their relatives.

The official declined to be identified because he is not authorized to speak to the media.

Witnesses told CNN that a Sadr City cafe, which was a popular gathering spot for gays, was also set on fire.

Sickening...
Is homosexuality illegal in Iraq? I know it's punishable by death in Saudi Arabia and the UAE...

Awful news.

It was legal under Saddam Hussein, but not anymore. As far as i know, the only two arab nations that allow homosexuality are Jordan and Lebanon.

This is disgusting.

It's when I read stuff like this that I think the human race needs to go the way of the dinosaurs.

some didn't.

Some, as history has shown, could actually reproduce on thier own, like frogs.
