Ok. So in other words,

Not supporting Heroin, Making Criminals actually pay for their crimes, (not sure what you are getting at about the abortion thing) and introduced legislation to try and prevent people from sharing files that should not be given without proper payment.

Im ok with most of that. If by "regulation on you" the intent was to stop criminal activity then I am all for it.

Fact remains that the C's would put the LEAST amount of regulation on me, of the 3 potato parties.

Not really my point, wouls you like to compare what Harper has done to p

Interesting spin Benzo. Here's my spin - he moved to reverse a healthcare decision by the BC government (disregarding the constitutional parameters), he moved to create a booming prison industry that only improves the justice system in symbolic terms that will not be sustainable financially at a time when crime is at a historic low (although if we want to radically redefine what a criminal is, that can change in a hurry), he had to promise not to tackle the abortion issue against the wishes of his party to assert government control over the bodies of women (more potential criminals?), and set forth enormous penalties for what amounts to accepting a mixed tape. Thank goodness he's so intent on cleaning up the streets. Fact is the C's are quite interested in keeping us aligned within pretty narrow social confines, and are willing to spend a good deal (although they refuse to cost their plans) to paint those who stray in black as opposed to white, with little room for shades of gray. It's pretty clear that this majority government is very happy to exert the force of the state on the little guy as well as those criminals truly deserving to pay for their crimes.

We discussed the success of the safe injection sites here, and you agreed about the idea:
Vancouver "hand-out drug" program

its sad to not see the liberals get a majority but considering how close the race was up to election day im ecstatic about the win. I'm sorry but the conservatives have been nothing but poison for this country and soon enough this will be shown through the polls on the municipal and federal levels-I hope

This is crazy.

I cared little about this election, I don't think the provincial elections really matter all that much, but poison? Get off it.

Please tell me how the conservatives are poison for this country.

On the flip side, the Toronto Sun (which i normally read with a grain of salt but enjoy the entertainment value) went wayyyy overboard with their cover today "Welcome to Hell". I know no Liberal voter, but hell really.

This country/province/city is a great place and the people make it great. For the most part no matter what party gets elected in anything, the country will remain one of the greatest places on the planet to live.

Poison? Hell?

I think not. We should be more ashamed that 55% of the population didn't feel it important enough to get off their couches.
