"Pizzababy" is gold. If you don't want me to use it either, I'll stop. I just think it's a shame to waste 'trane's creative genius.

You know, I actually kind of like the name. I met take it if you don't want it.

If I take it, it won't make sense for people to call you that, anymore. So that's a positive for you, I guess. There are some sweet potential avatars of babies eating Pizza. If Acie lets me, I'll change my name as a tribute to RF laughs. We're laughing with you, not at you.

I think you gotta give up on this pzabby. Slips of the tongue happen to people all the time. It has nothing to do with being professional. I'm not sure if that moderator was reading all his questions off a teleprompter (or that binder he had in front of him) or if he had some leeway for impromptu questions. I assume a slip of the tongue is more likely to happen if you are impromptu talking rather than reading stuff off a teleprompter like Peter Mansbridge.

Also what was Meatloaf doing? Was he super drunk or was he being sarcastic? Republicans. I don't get it.

Chris Christie looked ready to concede, by gushing over the Obama admin's response to the storm. He looked like he was working to get some Dem voters crossing over to him in 2016.

The aggregated popular vote does not matter; only the results of the electoral college matter, where Obama has a very slight edge the last time that I checked. If I remember right, Obama has around 230 delegates locked up, Romney has around 200, and the states they are fighting over could bring either of them to 270 (minimum number of delegates required to be POTUS), with Obama having slightly more favourable odds.

Obama's odds are actually twice as good or better than Romney's. But then vote rigging could turn those odds around.

Ohio looks pretty solid for Obama all the way through. Without that state Romney's chances are pretty slim.

I'd say "Let's consult the polls" but I worry that, especially now, it is a lot of noise and not a lot of signal. Last I saw, Obama was doing well in Ohio but Romney was gaining in every other swing-state.

1 week away.

IMO one very telling thing which should have voters thinking is that in Massachusetts where Romney was goverenor he's getting trounced.

Right now Obama is ahead in Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, while Romney is up by 1 in Florida, looks like he'll take North Carolina and Virginia. But really most of these states the lead is narrow to say the least 1-3%.

Romney stopped gaining about a week ago. Nate Silver breaks it down pretty incredibly well. He uses a bunch of computer simulations to get beyond noise. It really is incredibly hard for Mitt to win without Ohio. My only problem is that Ohio would be precisely where the vote could get rigged. Exit polls from the last two elections show a big variance with the actual results, and there are countless stories about voter suppression there. And I think there will be no exit polls conducted there this time around. Still, even with Ohio, if Romney doesn't have continued momentum, he can lose. We're looking at a likely 2000 sort of scenario then.

no way he was going to win Kennedy's state. plus, they have the biggest population of students in the U.S. which is Obama's key demo.

its all about Ohio
