He doesn't really seem to have a foreign policy beyond Israelis good, Americans good, everyone else bad. And the way he keeps criticizing Obama for apologizing to all the bad guys, when nothing remotely close to that has occurred is another example of the disgusting levels he is willing to sink to - although for a party that consistently questions the patriotism of war vets that happen to be Democrats, that's SOP. Hard to believe this was the party that had such a big advantage in this sphere. Another miserable failure that goes beyond Romney alone.

So since it looks like this was recorded in May, that it's not a search for excuses. Instead it appears to be a towing of the line that the Limbaughs drew, and will now insist on continuing to draw. Which is pretty sad for Mitt. Did he really want to be president bad enough for such shit as this? And though it's not excuses, it is filled with such a backwards sense of being besieged by inferiors that need to be blamed before, during and after the campaign. The whiney old white windbags of this world need to be lined up in wind farms and allowed to blow with all they've got. The Republicans need to realize that they can't narrow themselves to such a diminishing point, but it seems like there's no turning back. Which is scary, because these guys aren't that far removed from the same kind of rage of islamic extremists.

I'm surprised no talk on the debates yet on this forum?

I voted through mail a couple days ago. Very useless in Oklahoma though. Most republican state in the US.

There are enough hope and change zombies for a victory

Vegas has Obama at -235 to -275. big favorite.

It's a tight race no matter who wins. Honestly, the marathon that is the US election cycle is crazy imo. Mitt Romney's 47%, mexican parents and punting the ball down field on foreign policy comments should have killed any chance of him even coming close to winning. That and the fact that he's now completely pivoted to the middle and flip floped on half his agenda of the last 2yrs. Yet people are completely buying his bullshit. It really is astounding to me really. One poor debate by Obama in which he did ok on substance but was very lackluster/low energy has completely given that schmuck new life.

The media does a huge job of helping that. A million articles come out with the title "Romney wins debate" and without even reading the article or watching the debate people will flip sides to Mitt. Not enough people look at both sides of the story and make an informed decision on who to choose.

That being said, I'm not educated enough on the subject to make a decision between Obama and Romney. I respect Obama after reading Dreams of My Father though.

thats true but the media tends to overplay things like the 47% comment
its true he flip flops and fails to outline specific plans but its not like Obama is any better at keeping his word

most people are not really up to date on numbers. More likely is the average american is making far closer to about 25-30K a year.

I'm not right, or left wing. I think that is all bullshit and it always will be. It would be nice to see, in my lifetime, a governing body that was truly there for the greater good of all men.

I won't.

all men (and women) do not have the same interests in common. right and left are real things, important because of the significant difference in directions in which they can take the country. class is ever more a stratifying reality in america, and the interests of those groups are very differently impacted by right and left.

there is simply no 'greater good for all men'.

Yes there is. Stable economy, opportunities, jobs, healthcare, peace. All of those things ring a bell in my mind as greater good for all men. Greater good for all decent men at least.
