mcgill or U of T

in terms of finance programs, both universities are well noted. Both are top canadian schools with significant recognition and prestige. Both are in metropolitain cities, the two largest in canada respectively. Now which to choose is the question at hand. I live in toronto at the moment however residence costs are not a problem for my family thankfully. for myself personally, i have not seen the bright side of toronto as so many claim it being the or one of the best canadian cities to live in. i've always loved montreal, and i've been there quite a few times. if you were in my situation, with a goal to continue a career in either finance or law after undergrad, which university would you pick and why?

You should research both schools and see where you want to be. Our opinions shouldn't reflect where you want to go. For example, we all say that you should go to UofT, so you end up getting accepted and going there then regretting it. Both schools are prestigious and you can't go wrong by going to either. Just think to yourself where you want to be and where you think you will be happier. :)

thats the thing gurky. im not at an age where i can tell which city is better, nor have i lived in montreal. this is where everyone comes in. their reflection on which city is better for university/life is more in depth than what mine is because they've experienced more things than me. hence the need for opinions. i never take blind risks, only calculated ones.
