the oil thing ties in to all of my gloom and doom posts here today. Forget about making a big issue of oil subsidies - go after the speculators that are driving up the price, and make that the central issue. Why are we allowing our lives to be governed by ponzi schemes and bets that always come up "they win - we lose"?

you mean raising interest rates or better yet once again seperating commercial and investment banking (ei glass stegall act) so banks can't borrow at fed fund rates just to speculate and buy up all the worlds commodities and assets because they're guranteed to keep rising with the current easy money monetary policy......

not until people are starving my friend. Its already starting overseas but true change to this corrupt system wont come until north americans are truely desperate. In time
