I predicted Adam Vaughan would win the by-election in Trinity-Spadina, and it was done. He's too reknown/respected in the riding for him to not win.

So is joe cressy, whom I voted for. Adam vaughan is fine at the city level but I don't hold high hopes for him as an mp. I am very disappointed in my riding.

I voted for Vaughan. Not as much as Vaughan though. Most people who voted probably knew who Vaughan was, the same cannot be said for Cressy. And I think change came into play in that the NDP had the seat since '06.

Voted for Marchese provincially. Kind of sad to see him go but people again probably wanted change and strategically wanted to give the Liberals an edge over any potential Hudak triumph.

i voted the opposite provincially. i had a long talk with mr marchese at my door and told him why i wasn't going to support the ndp provincially.

but i like cressy a lot (and i have met his several times). he is incredibly hard working and surprisingly sincere for a politician. and i have mixed feelings about vaughan for several reasons historically. I was once really angry with him (and still am, although the issue is long past) about his view on dogs in cities. he's a bit of a vote follower. he will be fine, but i think cressy would have been better for the neighbourhood.

Fair enough.

I've heard stuff from some friends in the NDP party which kind of turned me off of Cressy.

I would have left the kids enough money for a length college career. And had the rest of it put away until they hit 35 or something like that. They'd learn to live normally and earn money, then come into the family fortune and invest it wisely; maybe even helping the world.
