Life discovered beneath deep ocean crust - The Weather Network

what are the chances life doesn't exist with the number of galaxies there are, which in turn have a large number of stars, which in turn many have planets, many of which are in the "goldi locks zone" for life to be possible?

and now this. if life can exist in so many different ways right here on earth, I would put a fortune that life exists somewhere outside of mother earth.

Incredible the findings they have. man I wish I could pursue two careers, one in law, one in scientific research

can only make us wonder the plethora of secrets the universe holds.

and we haven't even gotten on the brink of discovering the part of the universe we can examine, let alone the majority of the universe which is dark matter.

what could possibly go wrong?

Senate Passes Monsanto Protection Act

Quote:
In case you're not familiar, the Monsanto Protection Act is the name given to what's known as a legislative rider that was inserted into the Senate Continuing Resolution spending bill. Using the deceptive title of Farmer Assurance Provision, Sec. 735 of this bill actually grants Monsanto the immunity from federal courts pending the review of any GM crop that is thought to be dangerous. Under the section, courts would be helpless to stop Monsanto from continuing to plant GM crops that are thought even by the US government to be a danger to health or the environment.
