I've mentioned it before, but this is what they do. Jack the prices up and infuriate the public, then drive them down so everyone feels like they're getting a deal. Crafty.

It's a coincidence that this is also happening during a recession too. Thank god.

im saving $60 a month.
a little story...
i was driving home from montreal when i saw i needed fuel, tank was dry, so i got off at the next exit.
i followed the signs to the sunoco. when i got there they ran out of regular so they were selling ultra 94(premium) for the price of regular($0.86/L)
the sign at the pump read:
Sorry, we're out of regular gas.
Please enjoy our premium gasoline, ultra 94 at the same price.

this is when regular gas was a $1.35/L in toronto
i still dont remember the city or the exit I came off at but if anyone knows wheres got cheap gas from here to montreal ill glady take your information.
ive noticed kingston and ottawa has cheap gas as well.

I remember when driving to Montreal a Sunoco just after Cornwall off the highway exit. Driving to Montreal though is only about a tank of gas if that so it's always a "cheap" drive.

ya i can imagine gas shooting throught he roof as we get out of the recession (hopefully sooner).

That said, filling up almost 3/4 of my tank for $19 was great.
