Wow. I honestly don't know what to say to that. How can people be such big douche bags and not help him out. People took pictures WTF but couldn't help him. Amazing to see how people have become today

I heard someone talking the other day about people today having a lack of capacity for human contact due to being addicted to their blackberry, internet/computer. Their really appears to be a disconnect among people more & more, people are more comfortable texting then they are with human contact, or so it seems. More and more people are negative now and would rather "stay out of it" then get involved. Not everyone obviously, but alot of people are checking out on helping others in need as stories like these seem to be more frequent. This last decade alone things have drastically changed imo.

yea, I noticed that when I my 360 played it alot, and noticed I didn't go out more, didn't want to get involved, so I sold it, got out more and became more interactive with people.

I don't know if that proves your point, but it sorta can realte to this subject

even though there's no excuse for this, the other story they alluded to about the elderly man being hit on a busy street and cars passing by his body is far more ridiculous and harder to comprehend, i mean WOW

and lol at the security guards standing right in front of a teen fight

Did anyone hear about the 79yr old man on the subway today in Toronto who was assaulted and robbed at Pape station and he was pleading for someone to hit the emergency alarm on the train and nobody helped him at all. The men got away and haven't been caught yet. Fucked up!

Im not surprised. In some places if you're lying on the ground helpless its more likely to get your wallet stolen than recieve any sort of help.

That was absolutely nauseating. Esp. the old man being hit by a car! How the hell do you not call 911 right away and check on him????

My biggest pet peeve is when someone repeated looks at his/her cellphone when we're hanging out. For fuck sakes, you're not superman. Somewhere along the way society stopped honouring respect like it used to.

angering to see....

its like those photographers who go to th warring african countries and you see a swarm of them taking photos of a dying soldier instead of helping him. I dunno how can stomache letting someone die....
