Car Insurance

How much can I expect to pay on car insurance?

Car - 2005 Grand Am, 4 door, green, good shape.

Location- South River, small town. 1100 people. Highway 11 CURRENTLY goes through it.

Me- Getting my G2 in October. I'm taking Drivers Ed. 16. 17 in January.

I'm getting the car given to me by my stepdad. I think he said something about adding me to his policy. He's with Autograph Insurance or something.

Thanks!

If he's adding you to his policy it should help tremendously. At least it used to. Nowadays nothing seems to keep them from shaking us down, so I wouldn't say anything for certain.

I would say expect 1000-1200+/year

Depends on how much your step dad pays already. Living in a small town helps alot so it shouldnt be much

1000-1200? Naw I'd say a little more than that... then again its through his father so that might help... for my first car, it was a 2001 civic, and I payed 1427 a year... that was also in NS though.

Under his father, in a small town i would say it should be about 100/month give or take. But it's just a guess, ultimately who knows with insurance companies.

About 4 times what it would cost in socialist run Manitoba. Fucking socialists.

It always confused me as to why female's car insurance is cheaper than male's. Is that not a little sexist? So much for equal rights. :police:
