Wow! Poor taste.

Although i will say that the Tsunami certainly seems to have been glossed over, when it come to natural disasters.Katrina got alot more attention and wasn't nearly as severe. But comparing it to 911 is odd and in bad taste. Brutal.

WWf didn't approve of the add. I think they'll sue the Brazillian company that made this ad, got rejected and had the audacity to submit it to an ad competition.

I think it gets message across pretty well.

The only reason we disapprove of it is because it happened so close to home. We tend to ignore global atrocities every day, yet this one moment in history has becoming a defining point. How many benefits were held for Darfur? Was CNN giving 24/7 coverage of the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Kosovo? No.

Don't get me wrong, 9/11 was a terrible event much like the examples I provided but I feel alot of the negative press is simply done because it IS 9/11.

Conserve it? Please. I laugh every time I see that.

Conservation has nothing to do with our planet's well-being.... only the very precious set of conditions that allow for human existence.

No matter what we do, our planet will be fine. It is humanity's well-being we need to look out for. Get your message straight, WWF.

And I see nothing wrong with the ad. A bit controversial? Sure.... but certainly not over the top.

I agree with all of the planet stuff but what if someone you knew died in 9/11, it would be a slap in the face. You don't compare disasters, all of them are bad.

So the planet is going to kill people if we don't respect animal rights and recycle?

the Tsunami was no ones fault, it was a earthquake, a natural disaster.

9/11 was a terrorist act.

no similarities.

hmm. That was weak. Regardless, I think it will throw of people who were close to victims in the accidents. They will be the ones upset to see it all over again.

I disagree with many of you.

It's a thematic angle they are taking by examining an absrtact idea about the environment as a living and breathing entity.
