Absolutely ridiculous.

This jackass, because he was 17 might only get like a fine and 100 hours community service or some shit.

But here's what happened:

I was driving my two nephews and my neice to school because my uncle was busy, so as I was dropping them off my neice dropped her bag onto the road while she was getting out of the car and went to go pick it up and then some jackass who was driving a fucking 45 comes in and hits her bag, her hand was caught and she broke her wrist. Then he fucking drives away to his high school which is 15 FUCKING MINUTES AWAY.

I got the license plate and so did 50 other people and the police arrested him and he actually had the fucking balls to talk back to me and the cops when me and them were questioning him about his driving.

This is bullshit, and I demand jail time for this fucker.

lonewolfpoet 12-15-2009 10:47 AM

I hope your niece is going to be okay.

INSIDER 12-15-2009 10:49 AM

the fucking attitude and lack of respect that teenagers have nowadays is what kills me... they all act as if they are owed something and that they can pretty much do waht they want and arent responsible for anything in the world but themselves.

go all the way with this and make that fucker fry!

DVS 12-15-2009 10:53 AM

Its time to fix up the young offenders act. Way too much lack of respect going around from HS kids like this one mentioned. If he has such a mouth on him let him speak for himself.... Trial him as an adult dammit

Also hope your niece has a speedy recovery

I agree this lack of discipline in these kids today is pathetic, actually disgusting.

Like there is no way I could talk back to anyone like that if I did something so horrible.

Just what the hell happened to morals nowadays? Like I'm only 2 years older than this brat, and the morals and standards we have are miles apart.

+1.
First and foremost, I hope your niece has a full and fast recovery, SA.

I agree with DVS, the courts need to fix the YJA. Teens these days have no respect for anyone. It wasn't like when we were growing up. Did we do stupid things back in the day? Sure we did. It's all part of the joys of beeing a teen. But we never crossed the line. We had too much respect for elders. If you get behind the wheel of a car - no matter how old you are when you have your license, you have a responsibility - not only to other drivers on the road, but to pedestrians as well to conduct yourself in accordance with the law. You gotta try him as an adult. At that age, he knows the difference between right and wrong. You shouldn't be going 45 in a school zone, especially when there's kids around.

This is why I could never be a teacher.

I'd be in jail for homocide after my first week dealing with kids like that.

"Lack of morals" comes down to one major thing...

LACK OF DISCIPLINE.

Parents can't be bothered to parent and teachers have no authority anymore in schools.

I hope that your niece is OK... :sigh:

MangoKidHoops 12-15-2009 12:30 PM

It's because beating your kids is frowned upon. If kids were beat as a means of discipline, it might do them some good.

My parents were ass-beating champions. There are trophies up on the mantle at home.

Yep. There's nothing wrong with striking a little bit of fear into your kids.

Unfortunately society always focuses on the psychos who take it too far.

fancylad 12-15-2009 01:37 PM

sheeeeiiit, i used to get a leather belt across a bare backside. one of those skinny leather women's belts (my parents were from the old world). It hurt like a motherfucker. oh the tears.

I turned out fine (i guess).

true about changing the young offender's act. It's fucking such common sense.

Hope your neice will be OK Someguy.

yup and same with fancylad.

I got the same beatings. My mom fancied the shoe or the wooden spoon and used it alot.

My dad was more the final blow kinda guy. When my mom had enough (as she basically raised us while my dad was working long hours) the big leather belt with silver endings came into play.

It was the fear of waiting for the beat that scared the shit out of me more than then the actually beating itself though

Gurk 12-15-2009 04:13 PM

Whoa that is fucked. Hopefully your neice is gonna be okay. I agreee with you guys, I don't get beats from my parents but for some reason just them saying that I did something bad and then rubbing it in my face makes me not want to do bad stuff. I hate it when people at school say "OMFG I hate my parents. They are so gay and I am not even scared of them cuz I can kick there ass". It's like WTF are you guys smoking.

BTW I hope you guys don't hate all teenagers ;)

Same here, kids have too much power nowadays...child abuse. Kids don't have respect for law or authority. It's more deeper than family standards, the media has a role in glamorizing reckless celebs, kids see that shit and think reflecting the same persona will get them somewhere. Idiots....

Sorry to hear that. This is why insurance is so expensive for kids. This guy no doubt deserves more of a punishment than you mentioned... I'm assuming the police told you that was probably what he was going to get? He should lose his license as well as he's proven he's not responsible enough to have one.

Torontosaurus 12-16-2009 10:19 AM

I hope he gets jail time, he could have killed her.

lonewolfpoet 12-16-2009 10:22 AM

Let Russell Peter's dad fix that kid.

"you gonna hurt real bad"

Mr4thQuarter 12-16-2009 10:24 AM

Oh yeah let's beat up all our kids because some teenagers are out of hand. :dead: :confused2:

Agree that it's ridiculous they're not on tiral as an adult for things like this.
How can somebody not be held fully accountable but be held fit to drive a car?
Seriously children shouldn't drive cars. If you're old enough to drive, you're old enough go to jail.
