RF AWARDS 2010

at long last we arrive at the final rf award for this year - Most Valuable Poster of 2010. this award is presented to the poster that brings the most value in terms of quality, quantity and overall contribution to our forums. the mvp represents the best of what rf has to offer - a significant presence that generates discussion, a sense of humour, a friendly and welcoming demeanour, a penchant for quality debate, and a deep understanding of the game that is consistently improved by an eagerness to learn more.

this year's winner brings all of those things to the table in spades. he can get heated at times when he gets into a good debate, but always keeps it above board. he backs up his points with thorough analysis and evidence, and has even been known to admit being wrong from time to time - a quality that is rare on these boards (myself being a prime example of that lack). you'll find his presence in all the forums, and in the thick of some of the most interesting debates we have had this year. even if you've disagreed with him at times, you can't deny how thoroughly he makes his points and presents his research. he's a big presence, even if he doesn't realize it, and i continually find myself looking for his posts hoping i haven't missed anything.

this award was an easy one for us this year. in a unanimous decision, i am happy to present the 2010 RF Most Valuable Poster award to:

ArmchairGM!

ArmchairGM is not here to accept his award, so in his place we hope that Bill Haverchuck will accept the award on ArmchairGM's behalf...

and for good measure, a victory dance!

congratulations Bill, for being the best of the best at RF. this place wouldn't be the same without you. and remember, it's all about the dominance. i saw this monkey show on pbs.....
