Meh on the vet players. We've got Chuck Hayes, Amir Johnson, Steve Novak under contract and they have a combined 26 years experience in the NBA. Add in Lowry when he re-signs (another 8 years experience) and there's plenty of vet presence. Plus, most of our young guys are pretty experienced as well - DD, Fields, Vasquez and Patterson all have 4-5 years experience.
You're looking at Ross and JV, then our three draft picks. Odds are one gets stashed, so two rookies. Does it really matter whether they are 20 or 23? I'd rather a high upside guy who's 20 than someone who's topped out at 23 already - neither is going to impact the "experience" level of the team overall.
