The Magic have different goals this season, so even thought they might be able to get a rotation player back from a team looking to cut salary, Orlando might not be inclined to pursue such a deal because they are fine with missing the playoffs and getting a higher pick. They might just waive Turk. On the other hand, the Cavs are more likely to use Bynum as a trade chip to a team cutting salary, because they want to make the playoffs and would likely welcome a rotation player coming back.
