I think the state of the world is closer to finding some way for the one percent to monetize such a situation for themselves and their own enjoyment. Like the fake shanty towns that have satellite tv and all the amenities and serve sushi. Hell, i can think of a lot of better things he could do, including shaming Rogers and Bell, but i expect much less. Ultimately it is all of us that are failing to act. We could hold general strikes until our society is brought into some reasonable balance, but i don't see many of us willing to even consider that.
