At first, my initial instinct was that Casey is coaching like this, especially in the 4th quarter in order to tank. But, with a little logic and reasoning... it doesn't make any sense why he would want to lose?
He is obviously a lame duck and just a fill in until we get a real coach, so why would he want to look worse than he actually is if he is going to be applying for jobs at the end of the season?
Then, when you add in his history, it's pretty clear that D.C. is just a BAD head coach. This same crap was going on last year when we were trying HARD to win. He doesn't have the IQ necessary to be a head coach. It feels like an assistant captain has taken the reigns of the plane, but hasn't had enough in-flight hours ... so the ride is full of turbulence, strange decisions, confusing maneuvers, near death experiences and lots of fear and uneasiness.
You never once feel like you are in safe hands with Casey, no matter the situation.
He somehow gets u where u need to go, but it's a truly painful, confusing, heart wrenching experience.
You appreciate that he landed the plane, but wish it was some other jet he was learning to fly on...
not the one you just paid good money to sit in.
