Yeah, good point about the Apron. Way to cover all the bases. If they are going to sign another guy in the 2ish million range, they should use that bi-annual, just to make sure a hard cap situation doesn't fuck up a potential trade down the line.
Bi-annual causes the hard cap just the same as the full MLE. If they want to sign anyone else to more than the minimum (or so), they will be hard capped.
