With the Raptors
losing four of their past five games, there is speculation that coach Sam Mitchell might change his starting five tomorrow against Miami, apart from replacing Jose Calderon
if his strained hamstring doesn't improve.
Among the possibilities is resting small forward Jamario Moon in favour of Jason Kapono or Joey Graham or ressurecting the idea of seven-foot Andrea Bargnani
at that position and hoping that his offensive production will make up for any lapses on the defensive side of the floor.
That was an idea general manager Bryan Colangelo floated in the summer, but one that Mitchell has not yet embraced.
There is less of a chance that Mitchell will opt to start Anthony Parker at point guard if Calderon
cannot play. Parker played the point for a few minutes during Wednesday's loss to Philadelphia.
Mitchell wasn't tipping his hand yesterday, apart from repeating the team had to play better defence to stop giving foes such clear shooting opportunities. As to whether he expected a lineup change, captain Chris Bosh
laughed and said: "That's why I'm glad I'm not the coach."
