You are right, but its for the best of everyone:
- Toronto doesn't have to deal with a player that costs a lot and lacks motivation and can develop Davis (perhaps if he is given the reign of a starter he would consider extending).
- Everyone seems to have given up on him, so i dont see him gaining back motivation and confidence
- A change will do wonders for him (i hope) and Toronto will get something back
I personally hope for the L.A. Lakers, since Gasol at this time seem the only player that could fetch (via 3rd team) a pick and/or prospect and a veteran that would help this team, even if means parting ways with Calderon
(i personally dont think he will resign here anyways).
