This guy's shooting has been pretty weak. One thing I've been looking at is the idea of FT% in college being the best indicator of shooting ability. Ross only at 75-76% his two college years. Beal, Ross and Barnes were all in the 70s in FT% and have been very disappointing shooting.
OTOH you look at Lillard, he was 89% in college. Paul George and Kyrie Irving and Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were 85-90% guys. Many of the elite shooters were 80%+ in college. Not all of them but I wonder if it's worth it to trust a guy's shooting ability if he's not putting up those eye popping numbers
That is very interesting. FT% is usually overlooked since it's a stationary target with no man in your face. However, the mechanics would all be in play regardless of the situation.....that is interesting....
